Much has transpired since Extremo's last exhibit in his homeland of Portland Oregon. For the past four years the clown's art has graced the walls of many West Coast galleries from Seattle to Sacramento to San Diego. Earlier this year his debut on the East Coast included a group show in New York City alongside other lowbrow artists. Drawn by his wild artcar creation the media has covered Extremo on several occasion. He has appeared on local and national TV including The Discovery Channel, Travel Channel and ABC News.

For most Portlanders Extremo is best known for his wild artcar creations and his insane drive-by puppet shows. He has been the subject of many news articles in Willamette Week, The Mercury and The Oregonian to name a few. Extremo also ran for Mayor of Portland in 2004 coming in 8th with over 1200 votes in a field of 32 candidates.
